All about hyena

Hey animal lovers,in today's mini doc,it's all about hyenas and their habitat ways of living and more!

About hyena's

Hyena are carnivoran mammals,that get mistaken as dogs,there are four species of hyena and none of them seem to have any genes connecting them to dogs. They have a speed of 60 km/h and lifespan of 12 years(in captivity).They are known for their ways of communicating,they make a sound called laughing hyena,because it sounds like a laughing human,the laugh is rapid and amusing,many people think of it as a was to annoy them!

Habitat

Hyena's live in Africa,different climates like savannas,grasslands and mountain.

Diet

In our opinion the spotted hyena should be called the food steelers,they feast on left over hunts by other animals.Hyena's are omnivore witch means the eat both animals and plants.
