Popular as a pet,the bearded dragon are fairly sized lizards inhabitant to Australia.This social and easy to tame reptile is a cool pet to have!

About this breed
This lizard breed is found on the rocky ares in Australia,and it's main color is brown.The bearded part of their name procures from the spines that line to their throat.These spines typically lie flat but if the dragon feels like it's in danger,the throat enlarges.
housing and food
For a single adult bearded dragon:a 55 to 75 gallon tank and a secure screen top cover is exemplary.For smaller dragons(juveniles) a smaller tank would be OK.Bu they will quickly outgrow it.For substrate,sand should be avoided for juveniles,but for adults,towels,blankets,carpet etc..In the wild bearded are omnivores,they eat invertebrate and vertebrate prey,they also eat insects and small animals.Bearded are prone to digestive problem like chitinous exoskeletons of the insects.
