Exercise and feeding
Exercise wheels have been seen braking guinea pigs backs and damaging feet.Still wondering how will my guinea pig will get exercise, you can provide a play pen or a plastic wadding pool. Cavies are messy,be ready for them to make a huge mess in their cage, move things and food around and to tip their bowls. It's highly recommended to have a metal feeding bowl, because they can easily tip or chew the plastic ones. And make sure that you provide them healthy foods, that are are appropriate for Cavies/guinea pigs. Providing fresh water everyday is a 100% YES,if you don't they can dehydrate.Fresh grass or hay must be available to them at all times, and good timothy grass-based guinea pigs.
Grooming
There are different types of guinea pigs
-long hair
-hairless
-short hair
And more! Each of there hairs have different types of care, like for example the long hair guinea pig has more grooming and more effort when it comes to grooming than the either.
